<p>Lorenzo Suarez de Figueroa (1) was born in about 1344, in Ecija,Spain, or in Galicia. He was XXXII Maestro de Santiago [???], first Señor de Feria, and Gobernó la Orden de Santiago [???] for 22 years, from 1387, until his death. He founded, in Seville, the Convento de Santiago.</p><p> </p><p>Lorenzo married, first, Isabel Messia Carrillo and they had a son,Gomez Suarez de Figueroa Messia. Isabel is called Isabel Mexia in another source.</p><p> </p><p>He married, second, Maria Catalina de Orozco (la Malograda), with whom he had two children, María Suarez de Figueroa y Messia and Catalina Suarez de Figueroa.
